Master in Public Health

About the Course

A Master of Public Health is a specialised two-year postgraduate professional degree designed to equip students with the knowledge, skills and practical expertise needed to improve population health, prevent disease and promote health equity across communities and nations. Unlike clinical or medical programs, the MPH focuses on public health practice — addressing health challenges at a population level through policy, research, education and community engagement.

This program is ideal for students and working professionals who are passionate about making a real and lasting difference in the health and wellbeing of communities. With growing awareness of public health challenges such as infectious diseases, environmental health threats and health inequalities, qualified public health professionals are in greater demand than ever before across India and globally.

Public health is one of the most impactful and fastest-growing fields in the world today. The COVID-19 pandemic and increasing focus on preventive healthcare have highlighted the critical importance of public health professionals at every level — from local communities to global organisations. An MPH degree opens doors to a wide range of meaningful and well-paying career opportunities across the public, private and international sectors.
